Facilitators guide the session structure but do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or advice.
No. You do not need a diagnosis and you do not need to be in crisis.
Yes. You are welcome to attend once or come regularly.

Feeling nervous is very common.
You are not expected to speak and you can take part in your own way.
Yes. You are welcome to bring someone you trust for support.
What is shared within the group is treated with respect and confidentiality.
The only exception is if a facilitator is concerned about someone’s immediate safety, or the safety of others. In these situations, we follow a safeguarding procedure to help ensure appropriate support is in place.
Facilitators will always aim to be open and supportive if this situation arises
What does safeguarding mean?
Safeguarding means taking action to help keep people safe.
If a facilitator becomes concerned about serious risk to someone or others, they may need to seek additional support in line with safeguarding guidance.
Grow and Glow is not a crisis service, but facilitators will act with care and responsibility if concerns arise.
Sessions are facilitated by trained volunteers.
Facilitators help guide the session and support a respectful, welcoming environment.
Grow and Glow is for women aged 18 and over.
Grow and Glow is a peer support space and not a crisis service.
